Please note, this hands on class is held over 2 sessions, Saturday 4th and 11th June, 2:00pm to 4:00pm

This workshop is about giving you the information and skills to take better photos of your friends and family whether it is an impromptu snapshot or a more considered portrait.
Learn how to make decisions on camera settings and where to place your subject to take advantage of the best natural light.
You can’t always get the image you want “in camera” so we will cover basic cropping, composition, and editing.
Aimed at people using digital cameras this workshop can still help if you only use a phone camera.

 Week 1

1. Introduction
2. Camera and settings
3. Light
4. (Practical) Take photos of model in 3 or 4 locations at the centre 
5. Discuss editing program options.

 Week 2 

1. Selecting images to edit (culling)
2. Aspect ratios and composition
3. (Practical) Basic editing
4. Tips and tricks
