At times all parents feel lost about what their child might need from them. The Circle of Security Parenting program run by Communicare looks beneath behaviour to make sense of what your child is really asking from you.  It provides a ‘map’ to help better read your child’s needs, understand your child’s emotional world, support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions, build their self-esteem, support their need to build new skills, and strengthen the relationship you have with your child. 

PARENTING SESSION INFO:
Communicare will be running Circle of Security parenting program at the Roleystone Family Centre every Wednesday starting 23rd October 2024 to 11th December 2024. This is a FREE 8-session workshop. It is recommended that parents are able to attend all eight sessions as each week builds on the previous one.

There will be crèche services on-hand, however spaces are limited so bookings are essential. Please add a crèche service at the time of booking if required. Note if you have children under 12 months old, they will be able to attend the session with you.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Water Bottle/s
• All baby supplies if you require crèche services - i.e. nappies, baby wipes, bottles etc.

There are kitchen facilities within the Centre itself. Feel free to use our fridge to store milk if pumping on-site or for storing your food. You are responsible for taking your belongings once the session ends.
