Come along to join our Community Choir– Heart Space.
This community choir is suitable for absolute beginners to professionals. You will be guided through a variety of warmups which are designed to build and further develop singing techniques such as harmonies, breath, and projection control.
This choir is a light-hearted group who enjoy singing a variety of songs from the classics to upbeat modern songs. Rally your friends and come along. Singing in a choir helps people feel more connected, has health benefits by reducing stress, and its super fun!
If you are wanting to try this class out, please select the Trial Class Pass option. Led by Buddhist monks living in Roleystone, this course is for anyone looking to join a local meditation group.
This is not a religious class but rather an invitation to develop mindfulness as a group practice, tapping into the same peaceful silence which can relax the body, and improve focus and clarity.
Many doctors have prescribed meditation to enhance our well-being and manage stress-related illnesses. While we can meditate at home, it can be easier to develop a regular practice by joining a group. Group practice can benefit every level of practitioner by fostering connections with others and enabling us to get feedback from experienced teachers and fellow meditators.
There is no set fee; this course is priceless! Please feel free to contribute to the donation box.
We will be sitting on chairs. If you prefer to sit cross-legged, please bring your own cushion or meditation stool.
